Dong Thap Chairman Visits Former Provincial Leader, Extends Lunar New Year Greetings

(DTO) On February 2, a working delegation led by Pham Thanh Ngai, Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People’s Committee, visited and extended Lunar New Year greetings to Ngo Phu Tho, former Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People’s Committee, who currently resides in My Tho Commune, Dong Thap Province.

During the visit, Chairman Pham Thanh Ngai kindly inquired about Ngo Phu Tho’s health and family life. The Chairman also expressed deep gratitude for his significant contributions to the development and progress of Dong Thap Province.

The Chairman also shared updates on the implementation of the two-tier local government model.

According to Chairman Pham Thanh Ngai, the two-tier local government system is now operating in a generally stable and seamless manner, meeting the needs of administrative procedures for residents and businesses.

He expressed his hope to continue receiving heartfelt, valuable insights and recommendations from former Chairman Ngo Phu Tho to further enhance governance and contribute to a more prosperous and thriving Dong Thap.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, Chairman Pham Thanh Ngai wished Ngo Phu Tho and his family a warm, joyful, peaceful, and prosperous holiday.
