“Tai Tu Miet Vuon” Season 6 Begins Takeoff Round on THDT1

(DTO) At 7:10 p.m. on October 25, THDT1 officially aired the first competition night of the Takeoff Round of “Tai Tu Miet Vuon” Season 6. 

Following the exciting Starting Round (Round 1), the show, dedicated to preserving intangible cultural heritage, enters a new stage called the Takeoff Round (Round 2). In this round, instead of competing individually, the top 30 contestants are paired into 15 duos for three thrilling competition nights. 

In the Takeoff Round, contestants must demonstrate not only rustic, countryside-inspired vocals but also confidence, creativity and stage presence. 

The duos will compete through performances of tan co giao duyen (a blend of modern and traditional melodies) and vong co songs based on themes set by the organizers. This format requires harmony and mutual support between contestants while challenging each of them to showcase their distinctive vocal style. 

Accompanying the 15 duos throughout this journey is an artistic advisory panel led by People’s Artist Huu Quoc. Drawing on extensive experience, he will help contestants develop and stage their performances, enabling each singer to make the most of their strengths and deliver harmonious, emotionally engaging performances. 

The Takeoff Round marks a turning point for these countryside talents as they step beyond their familiar performance settings and confidently spread their wings on the brightly lit stage.
