690 Lunar New Year Gift Sets Presented to the Blind, Agent Orange Victims, and People with Disabilities

(DTO) On the morning of February 13, the Dong Thap Red Cross Society, in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap Province and relevant units, organized a program to present Lunar New Year gifts to the blind, Agent Orange victims, and people with disabilities across the province.

At the event, the organizers and benefactors delivered 690 gift sets, each worth about 500,000 VND, including cash and essential items such as rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, soy sauce, sugar, biscuits, and medicine. The funding was sponsored by Phuoc Tho Pharmacy and other donors.

The activity is part of the 2026 “Compassionate Lunar New Year” movement, aimed at supporting vulnerable groups and helping disadvantaged individuals enjoy a warm and joyful Lunar New Year, while promoting the spirit of solidarity and compassion within the community.
