Announcing the Broadcasting of “Tai Tu Miet Vuon (Season 6)”

(DTO) On the morning of September 19, at its Cao Lanh facility, Dong Thap Newspaper and Radio, Television held an announcement ceremony for the broadcasting of “Tai Tu Miet Vuon (Season 6)”.

In attendance were Nguyen Binh Minh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Thap Province; Ho Quoc Cuong, Deputy Head of the Communications, Press and Publishing Division under the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda and Education Commission; the main panel of judges; representatives of sponsors; and press reporters from inside and outside Dong Thap Province. 

The show will air at 7:10 PM every Sunday on the THDT1 channel, starting September 20, 2026. 

According to the Organizing Committee, Season 6 carries the message “Reaching Far with Southern Melodies.” The program continues to search for and connect individuals sharing a common passion for don ca tai tu and cai luong. 

Season 6 recorded more than 600 contestants from various provinces and cities, extending from the Southeast region down to Ca Mau Province. Among them, the youngest contestant is 7 years old, while the oldest is nearly 80. 

Notably, a new feature of Season 6 will be introduced during the Acceleration Round, where contestants will collaborate with young artists such as Tieu Minh Phung, Bao Kun, and Ngoc Phung. This partnership is expected to create a stronger bridge between don ca tai tu and younger audiences. 

The competition spans 5 rounds: Starting, Take-off, Acceleration, Resilience, and Coronation. Accompanying the show are People’s Artist Huu Quoc as Director and Artistic Advisor; Meritorious Artist Ngoc Huyen, Meritorious Artist Vo Minh Lam, and Vocalist Chi Tam as judges; alongside hosts Vu Manh Cuong and Ngoc Huyen. 

At the ceremony, Journalist Ngo Thi Ngoc Hanh expressed her gratitude for the support and partnership of the business community as well as news agencies inside and outside Dong Thap Province. Their contributions have helped spread the show to a wider audience and elevated its reach. 

The Grand Finale is scheduled for January 2027, featuring a total prize value of over 200 million VND, with the Champion prize worth 100 million VND.
