Belarus Film Days in Viet Nam 2026 to showcase diverse selection of films

DTO/NDO- The Viet Nam Cinema Department, the agency will coordinate with the National Film Studio of Belarus (Belarusfilm) and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus to organise Belarus Film Days in Viet Nam 2026.

Belarus Film Days in Viet Nam 2026 will take place at the National Cinema Centre in Ha Noi from June 26 to 28, featuring six contemporary films produced between 2023 and the present.

The opening ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. on June 26 with the screening of “One for Two”, directed by Ivan Pavlov and produced in 2026.

The National Cinema Centre is offering free tickets for all screenings during Belarus Film Days in Viet Nam from 9 a.m. on June 24.

The film is dedicated to two Belarusian heroes, pilots Andrei Nichiporchik and Nikita Kukonenko. On May 19, 2021, during a training flight in Baranovichi, a Yak-130 aircraft suffered a technical malfunction. The two pilots steered the uncontrollable aircraft away from residential areas until the very last moments to protect local residents. They lost their lives when the aircraft eventually crashed into an open field.

The remaining films in the programme are “The Song of Sirin”, directed by Elena Turova and produced in 2024; “Berezinsky Biosphere”, directed by Igor Byshnev and produced in 2023; “The Class Teacher”, directed by Kirill Khaletsky and produced in 2025; and “Turning Point”, directed by Dmitry Soroka and produced in 2025.

The National Cinema Centre has been distributing free tickets for all screenings of Belarus Film Days in Viet Nam since 9 a.m. on June 24.
