Book Reading Contest for the Disabled
(DTO) In response to the 5th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2026 and the Vietnam Day of Persons with Disabilities (April 18), the Management Board of the provincial Relic Site – Museum – Library recently organised a reading and quiz contest for persons with disabilities under the theme “Books – The key to success.”

The contest took place in a vibrant atmosphere with two rounds. In the first round, contestants read books and answered 10 multiple-choice questions. In the second round, participants shared their reflections on their favourite books.
The content focused on knowledge from books and real-life experiences, encouraging participants to develop thinking ability, comprehension and presentation skills.

At the end of the contest, the organising committee awarded one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes and 11 consolation prizes to outstanding contestants.
The event aimed to create a healthy environment for persons with disabilities to engage and connect with the community, helping foster reading habits and library use. It also contributed to expanding knowledge, spreading compassion and promoting reading culture across the province.
