Decision announced on merger of Tien Giang Medical College into Dong Thap Medical College

(DTO) On the morning of September 5, the Dong Thap Provincial People’s Committee convened a conference to announce decisions regarding the organizational restructuring and personnel appointments for Tien Giang Medical College and Dong Thap Medical College.

During the event, Decision No. 2336/QD-BGDDT, issued by the Ministry of Education and Training on August 7, 2026, was officially announced, finalizing the merger of Tien Giang Medical College into Dong Thap Medical College, which operates under the Dong Thap Provincial People’s Committee.

Concurrently, the conference announced the Provincial Chairman's decisions regarding leadership roles at the institution. Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Tan Hung takes the helm as Principal, supported by four Vice Principals: Mr. Tran Thanh Hai, Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh, Ms. Chau Thi Thuy Hang, and Ms. Truong Thi Thu Trang.
