Speaking at the event, Deputy Secretary Chau Thi My Phuong emphasized that the provincial health sector has made great efforts and significant contributions to protecting, caring for, and improving public health. She also acknowledged and commended the dedication and sense of responsibility shown by medical staff across the province.

Building on these results, she stated: “The Politburo has issued Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW on September 9, 2025, outlining breakthrough solutions to strengthen public health protection, care, and improvement in the new context. Based on this, the Provincial Party Committee has directed the Provincial People's Committee, specialized departments, and local health sectors to implement synchronized tasks and solutions in line with the Resolution. Under the plan, the province aims that in 2026 at least 40% of individuals eligible for periodic health check-ups or screening will receive these services and have their health records established. By 2028, the goal is for all residents to receive periodic check-ups, screening, and health monitoring records.”

She requested that the health sector continue working closely with localities in implementing public health care efforts; strictly and effectively carry out the directives of the Provincial Party Committee and the plans of the Provincial People’s Committee.

She also stressed the need for the health sector to remain proactive in disease prevention, early detection, and early-phase health care, contributing to improving the quality of life for local residents.
