Dong Thap: 91 Prizes Awarded at Children’s Performing Arts Competition

(DTO) On September 26, at the Dong Thap Provincial Children’s House in Dao Thanh Ward, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Department of Education and Training and the Dong Thap Provincial Youth Union, held the closing ceremony, performance program and award ceremony of the 2026 Dong Thap Children’s Performing Arts Competition. 

The event was attended by Huynh Minh Tuan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People’s Committee. 

The competition was held in two clusters, attracting 51 children’s performing arts teams from communes and wards across the province. The teams presented more than 150 performances, featuring nearly 4,000 performers. 

The entries covered a wide range of art forms, including singing, dancing, singing and dancing, storytelling, hip-hop, solo singing, and performances inspired by folk and traditional music. 

After a lively competition, the Organizing Committee and Judges evaluated the entries and selected outstanding performances for 91 prizes, including 36 first prizes, 30 second prizes and 25 third prizes. 

At the closing ceremony, outstanding performances were presented again for delegates and audiences.
