The goods market remained stable, with abundant supply and no shortages or sudden price spikes. Social welfare received special attention, with nearly 130,000 gift parcels distributed at a total cost of more than 53 billion VND.

A wide range of community-supported activities to care for people with meritorious service, low-income households, and workers were carried out across the province. Political security and social order were maintained. Telecommunications systems operated smoothly and without disruption.

During the conference, delegates discussed and contributed ideas to planning future Lunar New Year support activities at the local level, assessing market and price conditions, ensuring public order and traffic safety, and defining key tasks to be implemented after the holiday.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman Tran Van Dung acknowledged and praised the sense of responsibility demonstrated by provincial departments, local authorities, the health sector, the police, the military, and public officials in organizing Lunar New Year activities that were joyful, safe, and cost-effective.

He also emphasized key priorities for the period ahead, including effectively organizing the elections for the 16th National Assembly and the People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, ensuring that the recruitment and call-up of citizens for military service meet targets and quality requirements.

In economic development, the agricultural sector should maximize land-use potential, accelerate the adoption of science and technology, and expand large-scale production of key products, as well as strengthen both structural and non-structural measures to respond to drought and salinity.

In the industrial and construction sectors, efforts should continue to address challenges facing ongoing projects, accelerate land clearance and the progress of key works, creating momentum and determination to effectively implement the goals and tasks of 2026 right from the beginning of the new year.
