(DTO) On February 4, a monitoring delegation from the Dong Thap Provincial Department of Industry and Trade conducted an inspection of the stockpiling and supply of essential goods for the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year at the My Tho Trading and Service Cooperative and GO! My Tho Supermarket.
The team focused on inspecting the implementation of Plan No. 68/KH-UBND dated January 21, 2026, issued by the Dong Thap Provincial People’s Committee on stockpiling and supplying essential goods for the Lunar New Year; the display of banners identifying stockpiled goods; price registration and adherence to registered prices; and the quantity and quality of goods participating in the stockpiling program.

At the My Tho Service and Trade Cooperative, essential products such as rice, sugar, cooking oil, instant noodles, and livestock and poultry meat were fully prepared, ensuring quality and clear origin.
Prices remained generally stable, publicly posted, and strictly sold at registered levels. The unit displayed banners identifying the Lunar New Year stockpiling program as required, making it easier for shoppers to recognize.

At GO! My Tho Supermarket, Lunar New Year stockpiles were abundant and diverse, meeting the rising consumption demand during the holiday season.
Price posting and adherence to registered prices were strictly implemented. Product quality was ensured. Stockpiled goods were displayed in clearly designated areas for consumer convenience.
Through the inspection, the team acknowledged that participating units had properly complied with the contents of Plan No. 68/KH-UBND. They also requested that units continue closely monitoring market developments and proactively securing supplies, contributing to price stability and ensuring the adequate provision of essential goods for residents during the Lunar New Year 2026.
