Dong Thap: Temporary Road Closures for the Ap Bac Cross-Country Race
(DTO) On December 30, the Dong Thap Provincial Department of Construction issued a notice regarding the temporary traffic suspension on several streets, including Yersin, Tet Mau Than, Hoang Sa, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Ly Thuong Kiet, and Le Thi Hong Gam, to facilitate the Ap Bac Cross-Country Race.

Accordingly, the suspension is implemented pursuant to Plan No. 735/KH-UBND dated December 17, 2025, issued by the Provincial People’s Committee regarding the organization of the 41st Ap Bac Cross-Country Race in 2026, and Decision No. 3008/QD-UBND dated December 19, 2025, on the establishment of the Organizing Committee.
The Dong Thap Provincial Department of Construction announced that on January 1, 2026, all road vehicles and pedestrians will be temporarily barred from circulating during designated hours on the following routes:
• From 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.:
Yersin Street (from Ly Thuong Kiet Street to Ap Bac Street); Tet Mau Than Street (from Ly Thuong Kiet Street to Ap Bac Street).
• From 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.:
Hoang Sa Street (from the foot of Rach Mieu Bridge to Marina Restaurant); Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street (from Hoang Sa Street to Le Thi Hong Gam Street).
• From 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.:
Traffic will be partially restricted, with half of the roadway closed, on:
Tet Mau Than Street (the half adjacent to the Small Well area), from Le Thi Hong Gam Street to Ly Thuong Kiet Street; Ly Thuong Kiet Street (the half adjacent to the Commemorative Stele), from Tet Mau Than Street to Yersin Street; Le Thi Hong Gam Street (the half adjacent to the Small Well area), from April 30 Street to Tet Mau Than Street.
