Dong Thap Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Dieu Congratulates Enterprises

(DTO) On the morning of October 13, a working delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dieu, Vice Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee, visited and congratulated enterprises within the Long Giang Industrial Park (IP) on the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13).

The delegation visited Long Giang IP Development Co., Ltd., Advance Tyre Vietnam Co., Ltd., and Apache Footwear Vietnam Co., Ltd.

Long Giang Industrial Park spans 540 hectares, with 346.73 hectares leased, achieving an occupancy rate of 87.9% across 64 investment projects holding a total registered capital of over VND 59.518 trillion. Currently, the IP hosts 63 active enterprises operating primarily in metal production, rubber and plastic products, electronic goods, and food processing, creating jobs for approximately 35,800 workers.

During the first 9 months of 2026, business and production operations among enterprises in Long Giang IP maintained stability with positive growth. Industrial production value reached approximately US$3.3 billion, representing an increase of about 16% over the same period; export value reached approximately US$2.979 billion, up 14.94%.

During the working session, enterprises reported on their production and business performance in the early months of the year, while proposing that the province provide support regarding accommodation solutions for foreign experts and addressing labor recruitment difficulties. Notably, Long Giang IP Development Co., Ltd., expressed its desire to invest in developing an additional industrial park in the province.

Speaking during the visit, Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Dieu highly evaluated the operational results of Long Giang IP and its enterprises over recent times, noting their positive contributions to local socio-economic development. Provincial leadership committed to continuously accompanying and creating the most favorable conditions for enterprises to invest and expand their business and production.

On the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day, on behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dieu extended his best wishes to enterprise leadership, business executives, and workers, wishing businesses continued success in their production and business endeavors.

Regarding the investment orientation for an additional industrial park proposed by Long Giang IP Development Co., Ltd., Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Dieu stated that the province has planned for the development of multiple new industrial parks and clusters, assuring the enterprise regarding administrative procedures.

The enterprise is encouraged to study investing in an industrial park in the Go Cong area. The province currently envisions investing in a highway or high-grade route connecting the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway toward Go Cong, passing through the Soai Rap Petroleum Service IP and industrial parks in Go Cong. The province will incorporate this route into planning and soon deploy its investment.

Furthermore, in October or early November 2026, the province will organize an auction for a land parcel spanning approximately 10 hectares in Tan Phuoc 3 Commune to invest in a market town and housing district, which has already attracted investor interest. Once completed, this project will meet the housing needs of foreign experts and workers.
