Dong Thap Wins Gold at the National Radio Festival
(DTO) On the night of April 13, in Quang Ninh, the 17th National Radio Festival concluded by honoring 220 outstanding works across 10 categories. Dong Thap Newspaper and Radio, Television achieved notable results at the festival: one Gold Prize, one Silver Prize, and one Bronze Prize.

The podcast “Nuoc mat nguoi me” (A Mother’s Tears) by the team of Bao Ngoc, Trong Huong, Huynh Nhu, Thu Muoi, and Nam Hung won the Gold Prize. The work tells the heartbreaking stories of mothers whose children, students still in school, fell into the trap of so-called “easy jobs with high pay.” This is also the first time in the festival’s history that the podcast category was introduced, with nearly 100 entries submitted.

The work “Khi hat lua biet tho” (When the Rice Breathes) by Thanh Truong, Le Duyen, Thu Thao, and Xuan Hoang earned the Silver Prize in the thematic radio program category. It reflects the shift in farmers’ mindset two years after the launch of the project to develop one million hectares of high-quality, low-emission rice, highlighting early achievements and solutions for sustainable expansion.

The work “Di truc tiep lam truc tuyen” (On-Site to Online) by Thu Thao, Cao Le, and Ngoc Anh received the Bronze Prize. The piece delivers the message that successful digital transformation requires not only the efforts of the political system but also the participation of every resident.
At this year’s festival, the Organizing Committee presented prizes to 220 outstanding entries across 10 categories, including 24 Gold, 37 Silver, 71 Bronze, 59 Consolation Prizes, and 29 prizes in thematic categories. This edition also marked the highest number of submissions in the festival’s history, with nearly 350 entries competing in 10 categories.
