Hanoi - Dong Thap: Strengthening Collaboration in Study Promotion Efforts
(DTO) On March 18, the Dong Thap Study Promotion Association, in coordination with the People’s Committee of Tan Phuoc 1 Commune, hosted a working session with a delegation from the Hanoi Study Promotion Association to share experience in study promotion, talent development, and building a learning society.
The event was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Truong Thi Hien, Vice President of the Vietnam Study Promotion Association; Dr. Tran Anh Vu, Deputy Chief of Office of the Vietnam Study Promotion Association in charge of the southern region; Dong Thi Bach Tuyet, President of the Dong Thap Study Promotion Association; Nguyen Thi Ngoc Minh, President of the Hanoi Study Promotion Association; along with members of the working delegation.

During the program, the two learning units focused on sharing experience in implementing learning models under Decision No. 378/QD-TTg dated February 25, 2022, and Decision No. 677/QD-TTg dated March 3, 2022, issued by the Prime Minister.


The delegates also discussed organizational methods and operational practices of study promotion associations within the two-tier local government model.

As part of the working trip to Tan Phuoc 1 Commune, the delegation also visited Linh Phuoc Pagoda and Truc Lam Chanh Giac Zen Monastery.
On this occasion, the Hanoi Study Promotion Association awarded scholarships worth 20 million VND to students in difficult circumstances in the locality. Meanwhile, the Dong Thap Study Promotion Association presented scholarships and study supplies to 17 young monastics at Linh Phuoc Pagoda, with a total value of 15 million VND, encouraging their pursuit of learning.
The event served as a meaningful opportunity to strengthen cooperation and foster close ties between the two associations, while creating a platform for sharing innovative and effective practices in promoting lifelong learning within the community.
