Launch of Monograph on Culture, Literature, and Tourism

(DTO) On the afternoon of January 16, at the Information and Library Center of Tien Giang University, the Faculty of Education and Basic Sciences organized an exchange program to introduce the monograph titled "Culture, Literature, and Tourism in the Context of Contemporary Research." The work was compiled by a group of lecturers from Tien Giang University, including Dr. Vo Van Son, Master Truong Hoang Vinh, and Master Ho Luu Phuc.

The book launch and exchange event were attended by delegates, lecturers, and a large number of Cultural Studies students from Tien Giang University. During the program, a representative of the leadership of the Faculty of Education and Basic Sciences delivered a congratulatory speech, highly evaluating the academic significance of the work within the current trend of interdisciplinary research.

Published by the Social Sciences Publishing House, the 550-page book consists of numerous in-depth articles organized into three main areas: Preserving and promoting Southern Vietnamese cultural values; Vietnamese literature from the perspectives of genre, language, and culture; and diversifying Vietnam's tourism products in the new context.

At the exchange, Dr. Phu Van Han (Former Deputy Director of the Southern Institute of Social Sciences) shared his thoughts on the academic value of the work, praising the book's spirit of openness, connectivity, and integration in humanities research.

The event also featured a questions and answers session to clarify the new aspects of the work and its applicability in study, research, and the practical development of culture and tourism. 

The activity garnered significant interest from lecturers and students, focusing on topics such as the book's innovations, the significance of the interdisciplinary approach, and various issues related to culture, literature, and tourism in Dong Thap Province.

On this occasion, the authors presented copies of the book to delegates, representatives of various units, and Cultural Studies classes. The launch not only introduced a monograph but also contributed to spreading the academic spirit, encouraging students to expand their research mindset and connect knowledge with the practical development of culture and tourism.
