Provincial Party Committee Deputy Secretary Nguyen Van Muoi Visits Families of National Contributors

(DTO) On the morning of July 21, as part of activities marking the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), Nguyen Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission, led a delegation to visit and present gifts to families with meritorious service to the nation in My Tho Ward and Tan Dong Commune. 

In My Tho Ward, the delegation visited Nguyen Van Mung (born in 1960), a war invalid with a 41% disability rating, at his home in Tan Hoa Quarter.

The delegation then traveled to Tan Dong Commune, where they visited Tran Thi Hoa (born in 1941), the mother of a fallen soldier, in Go Luc Hamlet; Le Thi Manh (born in 1943), a former resistance fighter who was imprisoned by enemy forces, in Tan Tay 3 Hamlet; and Nguyen Tien Hung (born in 1962), a war invalid with an 81% disability rating, in Tan Phuoc 7 Hamlet. 

The delegation visits Tran Thi Hoa, the mother of a fallen soldier, at her home in Go Luc Hamlet, Tan Dong Commune. 

During the visits, Provincial Party Committee Deputy Secretary Nguyen Van Muoi warmly inquired about the families’ health and daily lives while expressing profound gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions made by war invalids, the families of fallen soldiers, and others with meritorious service to the nation in the struggle for national liberation and national defense. He also encouraged them to continue upholding the revolutionary tradition and serving as role models for younger generations, contributing to the continued development of their hometown. 

On the occasion, he presented gifts to the families in appreciation of their service, reflecting the Party’s and the State’s care for people with meritorious service to the nation, while reaffirming Vietnam’s enduring traditions of gratitude and remembrance.
