Quang Tri leaders pay tribute to General Vo Nguyen Giap

DTO/NDO- On December 22, a delegation of leaders from Quang Tri Province visited and offered incense at the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap in Vung Chua, Phu Trach Commune.

The tribute was held to mark the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Viet Nam People’s Army (1944–2025).

The delegates observed a minute’s silence to honour the immense contributions of General Vo Nguyen Giap - a revered leader of the Party, State, and people; an outstanding disciple of President Ho Chi Minh; the Elder Brother of the Viet Nam People’s Army; and a distinguished son of his homeland, Quang Binh, now Quang Tri Province.

They pledged to uphold solidarity and redouble their efforts towards the province’s development, ensuring Quang Tri continues to progress in step with the nation as it enters a new era.

On the same occasion, a delegation from the Provincial Border Guard Command of Quang Tri Province also paid their respects at General Vo Nguyen Giap’s tomb.
