Sa Dec Conducts Training on Tourism Web App in Preparation for the 2nd Sa Dec Flower & Ornamental Plants Festival

(DTO) To enhance promotion and local image branding, contributing to attracting tourists to the 2nd Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Plant Festival in 2025, the People's Committee of Sa Dec Ward, Dong Thap Province, organized a training session on the Sa Dec Tourism Web-App on December 24. 

Participants included leaders and specialists from advisory bodies of the Ward Party Committee and People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, socio-political organizations, schools, and members of community digital technology teams in the area.
During the session, the developers provided participants with a general overview of the Sa Dec Tourism Web-App

Accordingly, the application has been developed in two formats: a mobile app and a website for desktop users, featuring a wide range of functions such as information on tourist attractions, experiential tourism activities, accommodation facilities, food and beverage services, tour packages, OCOP products; updates on programs and events; information about Sa Dec Flower Village; online shopping features; traffic monitoring; and user account management.

In parallel with the application, the developers have also built an administration page for administrators to update and manage tourism data, flower village information, and traffic routes. This platform also allows for monitoring service reviews and managing user permissions to support the administration and supervision tasks of state management agencies.

In addition to sharing general information and guiding delegates on how to install and use the application, the developers recorded numerous contributions regarding the interface, features, and practical usability of the web-app. These insights will help the development unit refine the application, ensuring it operates effectively and remains user-friendly, meeting the demands for promoting the 2nd Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Plant Festival in 2025 and fostering local tourism development in the future.
