Sa Dec Ward Bustles with Preparations to Welcome Visitors for National Day Holiday

(DTO) Although no Independence Festival will be held this year, tourism sites and attractions in Sa Dec Ward are actively decorating, revamping their landscapes, and upgrading services to stand ready for the influx of tourists during the upcoming National Day holiday on September 2.

Over the past few weeks, the atmosphere at the Tu Ton Rose Garden Tourism Site has been highly animated. Staff have been tending, pruning, and weeding the flowerbeds to ensure the roses bloom profusely right on schedule. Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Trinh, a staff member, said she and her colleagues have recently worked longer hours to meet deadlines, keeping the grounds immaculate, vibrant, and welcoming.

The venue has also invested in new flower varieties, redesigned its scenic corners, and added more experiential activities. Ms. Dương My Nguyen Hao, owner of Tu Ton Rose Garden, emphasized that continuous innovation is their core criterion, ensuring returning guests discover something rustic yet refreshingly new during every visit.

Preparations at Happyland Hung Thy have been equally bustling. Thousands of flower pots, including roses, petunias, marigolds, and chrysanthemums, have been completely refreshed. Scenic backdrops have been repainted, repaired, and redecorated to create a vibrant appearance. A variety of traditional folk games remain a staple here, offering an engaging recreational space for families and groups of friends.

According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hung, owner of the tourism site, this major overhaul aims not only to serve the September 2 holiday crowds but also to serve as the groundwork for the upcoming Lunar New Year tourism season.

Mien Tay Lodge Ecotourism Site offers visitors a cool, green getaway, particularly highlighted by its fruit-laden vineyard and lush tropical forest. Mr. Doan Huu Nhieu, owner of the site, estimated that visitor numbers during this year's September 2 holiday could reach 2,000-3,000 per day, matching the traffic recorded during the April 30 holiday. The site has completed preparations and provided thorough training for staff in reception, bartending, and customer assistance to ensure top-tier service quality.

Alongside the proactive preparations by tourism businesses, local authorities are also taking active measures. Sa Dec Ward People's Committee Vice Chairwoman Le Thi Tuyet Nhung said the locality has implemented coordinated plans, including working with relevant units to regulate traffic, ensure smooth vehicle flow, and prevent congestion. Authorities are also stepping up inspections at tourist hotspots and food-service establishments to review compliance with price listings and ensure no overcharging occurs.
