Second Lieutenant Dang Hong Quang honored as "Outstanding Young Police Officer" of 2025

(DTO) On the evening of March 19, Under the auspices of the Ministry of Public Security, the 'Pioneer Flame' program was held the "Pioneer Flame" program at the Ho Guom Opera House (Hanoi). The event celebrated the 15th anniversary of the "Exemplary Young Public Security Officers" Award and honored the 2025 awardees.

The event was held in celebration of the 95th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the 70th anniversary of the Public Security Youth Union’s traditional day.

At the ceremony, the organizing committee presented certificates and commemorative symbols to 20 outstanding young public security officers in 2025. These individuals represent a new generation of police officers who are courageous, intelligent, innovative, and ready to take on challenging and complex tasks, contributing to the proud legacy of the heroic Vietnam People’s Public Security force.

Second Lieutenant Dang Hong Quang, currently serving at Lap Vo Commune Police in Đồng Tháp Province, is among the 20 exemplary young officers honored this year.

This recognition reflects his outstanding efforts in study, training, and dedication. Previously, he graduated as valedictorian of his cohort, earned the title of “Five-Good Student” for several consecutive years, won multiple national-level awards, and actively participated in volunteer activities for the community.

In his professional duties, he consistently demonstrates responsibility, bravery, and proactiveness, successfully fulfilling assigned tasks and contributing to maintaining security and order at the grassroots level, while promoting the positive image of a people-oriented public security officer.

The “Outstanding Young Public Security Faces” Award aims to recognize achievements and contributions of young officers, while motivating them to continue striving, training, and dedicating themselves to the cause.

Over the past 15 years, the award has honored hundreds of exemplary young officers for their achievements in study, duty, combat, and scientific research. This has fostered new role models and promoted patriotic movements within the force, inspiring the youth to strive for excellence and dedication

The honored individuals represent the mettle, wisdom, and aspirations for dedication of the People's Public Security youth across various fields. Many of them have since matured and been appointed to important positions within the political system, becoming generals and leaders at all levels within the People's Public Security force.
