Standing Deputy Secretary Phan Van Thang Visits Suoi Gao Farm

(DTO) On June 16, Phan Van Thang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap Province, visited and surveyed the Suoi Gao Farm model in Tan Thuan Binh Commune. 

Suoi Gao Farm covers an area of 2 hectares and offers a variety of activities and services for children and visitors. Here, guests can immerse themselves in nature while exploring modern agricultural practices and experiencing clean-food production through four stations: the Aquatic Farming Station, Livestock Station, Aeroponics Station, and Biology Station.

During the visit, a farm representative proposed that relevant authorities continue providing legal support and facilitate policies for the farm’s tourism development in the coming years. 

Following the survey, Standing Deputy Secretary Phan Van Thang highly praised the Suoi Gao Farm model, describing it as an excellent initiative that deserves wider replication. 

He asked the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and other relevant local agencies to continue supporting the model and promptly address challenges arising during its future development. 

He also encouraged the Farmers’ Union to study and develop linkage models that can create more successful initiatives, contributing to the growth and enhanced value of agricultural products.
