(DTO) As the nation enters new phases of development amid a world reshaped by digital transformation, strategic competition, and increasingly complex geopolitical shifts, the question of growth momentum no longer lies solely in material resources.

It depends more than ever on human capacity, especially the younger generation. For Vietnam, history has repeatedly affirmed a simple truth: whenever the country stands at a turning point, its youth are the ones who open the way, create breakthroughs, and lead the charge.

The 95th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union is not only a milestone of a socio-political organization, but also an occasion to reflect on an enduring current of revolutionary ideals tied to the nation’s destiny. From the struggle for independence to the eras of renovation and integration, generations of Vietnamese youth have consistently demonstrated their pioneering spirit, creativity, and readiness to take on challenges. It is more than a tradition. It has become a developmental rule: wherever there is a need, youth will be there; whatever the difficulty, youth will take it on.

Today, as the country moves into a new development phase requiring greater innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable growth, the role of young people becomes even more strategic. Beyond being a dynamic labor force, youth are the bearers of knowledge, technology, and breakthrough ideas. These are factors that will shape the nation’s position in the future.

At the local level, Dong Thap offers a vivid example of how effectively youth resources can be harnessed. In recent years, youth movements across the Pink Lotus Land have not only expanded in scale but also deepened in depth, closely aligned with local socio-economic needs. From new rural development and environmental protection to start-ups and innovation, young people have contributed real value while forming a generation that is dynamic, forward-thinking, and highly adaptable.

Notably, as the province transitions toward modern agriculture, a green economy, and digital transformation, youth are not just participants. They are emerging as drivers in many new fields. High-tech production models, initiatives in e-commerce, and community-based tourism are opening new pathways for local development and clearly illustrating today’s youthful spirit of daring to think, to act, and to innovate.

This reality presents a mandate not only for the Youth Union but for the entire political system: to continue creating environments, mechanisms, and spaces that allow young people to unleash their full potential. With proper guidance and meaningful opportunities, youthful energy becomes not only a resource but also a strategic engine of development.

95 years is long enough to affirm the value of an ideal. And in the journey ahead, as the country steps into new development spaces, there is every reason to believe that the Youth Union’s wellspring of ideals will continue to be sustained by the intellect, courage, and aspirations of Vietnamese youth, including those of Dong Thap, who are quietly and steadfastly helping shape the nation’s future.
