Thirty young farmers honoured as leaders in entrepreneurship and integration
DTO/NDO- Thirty outstanding young farmers were honoured at the 20th Luong Dinh Cua Award Ceremony, organised by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee in Ha Noi on the evening of December 26.
The recognition raised the total number of award recipients since the award’s inception in 2006 to 2,158 nationwide.
Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and President of the Viet Nam Youth Federation Nguyen Tuong Lam highlighted that the 30 award-winning young farmers shared strong determination, an innovative mindset, the courage to think boldly and act decisively, and a desire to build prosperity in their hometowns. They represent exemplary role models for rural youth in Viet Nam, promoting diligence and creativity in labour, taking the lead in building new-style rural areas, and contributing to the country’s progress towards a new development era.

He also called on young people to harness their youth, intellect and ambition, turning ideas and aspirations into concrete models, products, and values that can generate new momentum for sustainable and modern agricultural and rural development.
At the ceremony, award recipients shared their entrepreneurial journeys, experiences and aspirations, including efforts to continuously innovate, build strong brands, maintain markets and develop stable workforces.
Since 2006, many recipients of the Luong Dinh Cua Award have gone on to play pioneering roles in agricultural development, applying science and technology, creating jobs and helping to raise incomes for local farming communities across the country.
