Tien Giang University Expands International Cooperation and Connects with High School Students
(DTO) On June 25, at Truong Dinh High School in Long Thuan Ward, Tien Giang University held an exchange program between international students interning at the university and local high school students.

Attending the program were representatives of the Dong Thap Department of Education and Training, the Dong Thap Union of Friendship Organizations, leaders of Tien Giang University and Truong Dinh High School, along with many students and international interns from France and Tunisia.
The event was held to mark the 21st anniversary of Tien Giang University (June 6, 2005 - June 6, 2026). It also served to promote the university’s image and international cooperation activities, while supporting student recruitment efforts in the coming period.
At the program, students were introduced to Tien Giang University, its international cooperation activities, and its learning environment, including opportunities to practice foreign languages with international volunteers and students. They also learned more about the cultures and countries of France and Tunisia through presentations, exchanges, Q&A sessions, and special performances.
Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Minh Tung, Vice Rector of Tien Giang University, said that in today’s trend of international integration, foreign language skills and intercultural communication are extremely important for the younger generation. He noted that the university always places strong emphasis on expanding international cooperation and creating opportunities for students to study and connect with peers from many countries around the world.
According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Minh Tung, the program not only gave high school students a chance to meet and interact with international students, but also helped inspire their interest in learning foreign languages, strengthen their confidence, and nurture their aspiration for global integration. He added that Tien Giang University will continue improving training quality, expanding international cooperation, and building a dynamic, modern learning environment while accompanying students on their educational and personal development journey.
