Vibrant Colors of the Street Carnival at the 2nd Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Plant Festival
(DTO) Within the framework of the 2nd Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Plant Festival, on the afternoon of January 2, the Dong Thap Provincial Youth Union organized a Street Carnival, attracting thousands of local residents and tourists to immerse themselves in a vibrant cultural space.

The parade brought together more than 600 participants from 10 different groups, including professional performers, models, Youth Union members, and students from Sa Dec Ward.
The parade began at Vincom Sa Dec, moved along Nguyen Cu Trinh Street over a 1.2-kilometer route, and ended at Sa Dec Square.
A highlight of the parade was the harmony between local identity and integration. Traditional beauty was showcased through ao dai and ao ba ba (Vietnamese traditional clothes), a re-creation of a Mekong Delta wedding scene, and outfits representing the Kinh, Hoa, and Khmer ethnic groups. Adding an international flair were groups in Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Latin American costumes.
Everything came together in the lively rhythms of lion dances, drum and horn performances, and energetic dance routines, creating a vibrant cultural space along the streets.
The street parade was not only an entertaining activity but also a cultural bridge, helping to promote the image of Sa Dec as a dynamic and friendly place rich in cultural identity.
The event left a lasting impression on visitors and became a radiant highlight for Dong Thap tourism in the first days of 2026.
