Vibrant “Dao Thanh Full Moon - Illuminating Dreams Together” Program

(DTO) On the evening of September 19 at Tet Mau Than Park, the Dao Thanh Ward People’s Committee organized an art program themed “Dao Thanh Full Moon - Illuminating Dreams Together”. 

The program took place in a bustling and festive atmosphere, featuring special musical performances by students, combined with celebratory fireworks and a lively dragon and lion dance. 

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee held a closing ceremony and awarded prizes to teams with outstanding achievements in the lantern-making contest “Full Moon Festival Night - Technological Innovation, Connecting the Future” and the costume and street parade contest “Dao Thanh Mid-Autumn Festival - Colors of the Future,” which took place on September 18. 

To support children in overcoming difficulties, the Organizing Committee, along with representatives of various departments and mass organizations, presented 95 meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to disadvantaged children, children with disabilities, and orphans in the ward. Each gift included 300,000 VND in cash, 2 mooncakes, and 1 lantern. 

This activity is part of the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival event series launched by the Dao Thanh Ward People’s Committee, running from September 18 to September 27, 2026. 

Besides the main ceremony, the event series also offers a variety of experiential spaces for children and residents, such as “Knowledge Train” (reading books, painting statues, molding to he figurines, making mooncakes), a folk games area, booths displaying tourism products and introducing traditional cuisine, along with street art performances (Dance Kids, Taekwondo martial arts music, and Acoustic music).
