During peak periods such as Youth Month (March), the anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26), and the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, youth organizations at all levels organized numerous “Green Sunday” drives and “Peak Day for Building Civilized Urban Areas,” combined with efforts to eliminate waste “black spots”; disseminate and mobilize residents to raise awareness of environmental hygiene; clear bushes; plant trees; dredge canals and ditches; and join local authorities in effectively implementing new-style rural area building and civilized urban development programs.
Over the past year, weekends and month-end days have become busier for Youth Union members and young people in My Ngai ward.

PIONEERING INNOVATION FOR COMMUNITY WELL-BEING
Beyond organizing social welfare activities such as visiting and presenting gifts to policy beneficiary families, poor households and those in difficult circumstances, Youth Union members and youth organizations across Dong Thap province have taken the lead in launching creative, practical and sustainable initiatives for the community.

A typical example is the effective implementation of the “Volunteer Saturday” program. In 2025, Youth Union organizations at all levels across the province organized 36 “Volunteer Saturday” drives to support online public services, attracting more than 5,400 volunteer participants.
The Standing Board of the provincial Youth Union also directed the establishment of specialized volunteer teams to assist two-tier local administrations in handling administrative procedures, delivering public services and disseminating legal knowledge at the grassroots level.

The provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Department of Justice to establish six teams to “Support Residents in Handling Administrative Procedures, Public Services and Legal Dissemination” for the 2025–2030 period. These teams also undertook additional tasks, including reviewing and updating data, renewing Party membership cards and deploying the “Digital Front” platform.
In 2025, the Truong Xuan Commune Youth Union assisted more than 3,000 residents in registering Level-1 and Level-2 electronic identification accounts (VNeID), facilitating the handling of administrative procedures in the digital environment, and supported over 300 applications for Citizen Identification Cards for children under six.
The commune Youth Union also coordinated guidance for Youth Union members and residents in installing and using cashless payment applications, with nearly 600 accounts set up, enabling more convenient transactions and exchanges.
Mr. Luu Trung Truc, Secretary of the Youth Union Branch of Hamlet 6A, Truong Xuan commune, shared: “In addition to providing on-duty support at the commune Public Administration Service Center, I actively engage in disseminating digital technology knowledge and guiding residents to install and use digital transformation utilities such as cashless payments and Level-1 and Level-2 electronic identification (VNeID) accounts.
“I also proactively participate in training courses to strengthen my knowledge so as to better support residents, contributing to bringing digital technology closer to the people.”
In addition, Youth Union organizations at all levels have implemented programs accompanying young people in study, start-ups and career development, as well as in the care and protection of children, through various effective activities and models.

Through Youth Union work and youth movements in 2025, the pioneering and volunteer role of Youth Union members and young people across the province has been clearly demonstrated in various fields.
These projects and initiatives not only generated tangible material value, embodying the dedication and intellect of the youth, but also received strong consensus and support from residents and local authorities, thereby making positive contributions to local development.
