Border Area Voters Enthusiastically Cast Ballots for the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils

(DTO) On the morning of March 15, together with nearly 79 million voters nationwide, residents in the border area of Thuong Lac Ward went to the polls to elect deputies to the 16th National Assembly and to the People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

Voters at Polling Station No. 2, Electoral Unit No. 6 at Thuong Lac 1 Primary School (Binh Hoa Ha Hamlet, Thuong Lac Ward) cast their ballots.

After the opening ceremony, from early morning, about 1,302 voters at Polling Station No. 2, Electoral Unit No. 6 at Thuong Lac 1 Primary School (Binh Hoa Ha Hamlet, Thuong Lac Ward) arrived in high spirits, ballots in hand, to choose capable and upright deputies for the 16th National Assembly and the People’s Councils for the 2026-2031 term.

Nguyen Van Khen, a voter from Binh Hoa Ha Hamlet, Thuong Lac Ward, said he was proud to be among the first to place his ballot into the box in this election.

“I feel proud and aware of my responsibility when directly selecting deputies with the integrity and competence to serve the country and the people. I also hope the elected deputies will fulfill their duties in promoting socio-economic development,” Khen shared.

Also on March 15, joining 796 voters at Polling Station No. 9, Electoral Unit No. 3 in Cau Muong Hamlet, Thuong Lac Ward, 52 soldiers from Cau Muong Border Guard Station cast their ballots for deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
