Cadre Training for 2026 Successfully Completed, Ensuring Quality and Absolute Safety

(DTO) On the morning of January 9, the Dong Thap Provincial Military Command held the closing ceremony of the 2026 cadre training program. Colonel Pham Van Muoi, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command, attended and delivered the closing remarks.

The 2026 cadre training program took place from January 6 to 9 in a spirit of unity and urgency, successfully fulfilling all assigned tasks and meeting the set objectives.

Trainees were equipped with a range of essential knowledge covering military, political, and logistics-technical affairs; received training on drill and discipline building; and practiced marksmanship with newly issued weapons.

Throughout the training, trainees demonstrated a high sense of responsibility, studied actively, mastered the required content, strictly followed regulations, and ensured absolute safety.

Inspection results showed that trainees had firmly grasped individual drill movements without weapons, understood firing conditions and rules, mastered basic marksmanship skills, and were proficient in weapon handling during the evaluation.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Colonel Pham Van Muoi emphasized that agencies and units must promptly draw lessons and apply the knowledge gained during the training to effectively direct 2026 combat readiness and training tasks.

In the immediate future, he instructed units to focus on preparing training materials, models, teaching aids, training grounds, and practice areas; actively organize and participate in the 2026 training-preparedness evaluation with high quality; strictly maintain combat readiness regulations, especially during holidays, the Lunar New Year, the 14th National Party Congress, and the elections of the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils for the 2026-2031 term; efficiently receive new recruits; and prepare thoroughly for the 2026 Training Kickoff Ceremony.
