Commemorating 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Administrative Management Police Force for Social Order

(DTO) On April 16, the Dong Thap Provincial Police Department held a gathering to mark the 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Administrative Management Police Force for Social Order (April 18, 1946 - April 18, 2026). 

Major General Lam Phuoc Nguyen, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Provincial Police Department, attended and presided over the gathering. The event also welcomed former provincial police leaders, as well as leaders, officers, and soldiers of the Administrative Management Police Division for Social Order across different periods. 

During the gathering, delegates reviewed the 80-year journey of building, fighting, and development of the Administrative Management Police Force for Social Order, an enduring journey marked by responsibility and devotion to serving the people. 

Carrying forward this proud tradition, the Administrative Management Police Force for Social Order of Dong Thap Provincial Police Department has proactively implemented key tasks assigned by the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial People’s Committee, and the Provincial Police Department Directorate, contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management over security and order. 

Notable achievements include increasingly rigorous and systematic residence management, the issuance and administration of citizen ID cards, and the supervision of conditional business sectors related to security and order. Administrative reform and the application of information technology have also been strengthened, thereby improving public service quality and meeting the demands of the new situation. 

Speaking at the gathering, Major General Lam Phuoc Nguyen expressed his gratitude to generations of leaders, commanders, officers, and soldiers of the Administrative Management Police Force for Social Order. He acknowledged and praised the outstanding achievements the force has accomplished in recent years. 

He emphasized that the 80th Anniversary gathering is not only an occasion to honor tradition but also a source of motivation for each officer and soldier to continue fostering solidarity, strengthening political bravery, improving professional expertise, innovating working methods, and taking the lead in the national digital transformation process. This will help the unit further enhance work quality, advance administrative reform, effectively implement Project 06/CP, and better serve the people while maintaining security and order in the current period. 

To recognize and commend the force’s efforts and achievements, 40 collectives and individuals with outstanding performance in the special emulation movement celebrating the 80th Anniversary were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Administrative Management Police Department for Social Order, the Ministry of Public Security, and the Director of the Provincial Police Department.
