Consensus and Trust Mark Voters’ Participation in the Election Day
(DTO) We watched the steady flow of people entering and leaving the polling station in an orderly, upbeat atmosphere, sensing the broad consensus and trust that voters placed in this nationwide event. From elderly citizens to first-time young voters, everyone showed a strong sense of responsibility and faith in their choices.
Arriving early at a polling site in Dong Thap Province, we noted the lively and enthusiastic mood. From the morning, numerous voters came to cast their ballots and exercise their civic rights and obligations. The polling area was brightly decorated with flags, flowers, banners, and slogans, giving the space a solemn atmosphere.

Operations at the polling station were well-organized, orderly, and compliant with regulations. Areas were arranged logically for easy movement. Election staff provided clear, attentive guidance to help voters complete the process quickly and smoothly. Security forces were also deployed to ensure safety and public order throughout the day.

Nguyen Hong Quan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell, Head of the Fatherland Front Working Committee of Quarter 22, and Head of Polling Station No. 22 in Dao Thanh Ward, shared: “To ensure a safe and properly conducted election day, our team prepared thoroughly well in advance. Tasks such as decorating the polling site, reviewing voter lists, preparing facilities, and guiding voting procedures were carried out fully and in line with regulations. Throughout the voting period, all members worked with a strong sense of responsibility, supporting and guiding voters so they could exercise their civic rights and obligations with ease.”

People of all ages, from long-time voters to young participants voting for the first time, came with enthusiasm and a serious sense of duty. Watching each voter respectfully place their ballot into the box underscored the significance of this nationwide event.
Speaking briefly with Nguyen Van Hau, an elderly lottery ticket seller living in Quarter 22 of Dao Thanh Ward, he said: “Life is still difficult, but I try to vote early. I believe voting is not only a right but also a responsibility, to choose worthy deputies who can speak for the people. I hope that once elected, they will care about workers’ livelihoods and introduce supportive policies.”

Nguyen Pham Nhat Tam, a first-time young voter from Quarter 22 of Dao Thanh Ward, shared: “My father brought me to vote today. Holding my first ballot, I feel very proud. I believe every vote matters because it’s how we express our voice and responsibility as citizens. I hope that once elected, the deputies will listen to the people, address community concerns, and contribute to the development of our hometown.”
These simple yet meaningful moments painted a vivid picture of voters’ sense of responsibility and trust in the country’s future.
Each ballot carefully placed into the box represents not only an individual choice but also the collective expectations of the people for dedicated, capable deputies, who remain close to the community, listen to the public, and work wholeheartedly for the development of the hometown and the nation.
