Dong Thap Announces Personnel Appointments for Provincial Military Party Committee
(DTO) The Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee on the afternoon of May 25 held a conference to announce and present decisions on personnel appointments. Provincial Party Committee Secretary Ngo Chi Cuong, who is also Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, and Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee, attended the event and handed over the decisions.

At the conference, a representative of the Provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing Major General Tran Minh Trang, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Commander of the Provincial Military Command, to the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Provincial Military Party Committee, assigning him to serve as Deputy Secretary for the 2025–2030 tenure. Colonel Nguyen Van Hoa, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, was also appointed to the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Provincial Military Party Committee as Permanent Deputy Secretary for the same tenure.

Addressing the conference, Secretary Ngo Chi Cuong, on behalf of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, congratulated the two officials on their appointments to the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Provincial Military Party Committee for the 2025–2030 tenure.
He urged Major General Tran Minh Trang and Colonel Nguyen Van Hoa to continue leveraging their capabilities and experience, collaborating with the Provincial Military Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command to proactively advise the Military Region Command, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People’s Committee on effectively leading local military and defense tasks, while building a robust provincial armed force to meet the requirements of safeguarding the nation in the new situation.
