Dong Thap Newspaper and Radio, Television Announces Organizational Restructuring and Personnel Appointments
(DTO) On the morning of July 10, Dong Thap Newspaper and Radio, Television held a conference to announce decisions on its organizational restructuring and personnel appointments under Regulation No. 793, issued by the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee on June 30, 2026, which defines the agency’s functions, responsibilities, and organizational structure.

Under the new regulation, effective July 9, 2026, the agency’s leadership titles have been adjusted to align with its new organizational model. The Editorial Board has been renamed the Board of Directors. Accordingly, Ngo Thi Ngoc Hanh assumes the title of Director, replacing the former title of Editor-in-Chief. The former Deputy Editors-in-Chief, Nguyen Trong Tan, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep, Nguyen Duy Phuc Huy, and Tran Thi Thanh Hien, now serve as Deputy Directors.

The conference also announced the Director’s decisions establishing six professional departments: the Administrative Office, Editorial Secretariat Department, News Department, Feature Department, Technical and Technology Department, and Service and Advertising Department. Leadership appointments for the newly established departments were also announced.

Speaking at the conference, Director Ngo Thi Ngoc Hanh called on all officials and employees to uphold solidarity, strictly follow organizational assignments, and proactively adapt to the agency’s new operating model.

She noted that during the initial stage of implementation, many employees will take on unfamiliar responsibilities and work in new areas. Although challenges remain, she described this as an opportunity for them to develop their capabilities, gain valuable experience, and continue their professional growth.

The Director affirmed that the Party Committee’s Standing Committee and the Board of Directors will continue supporting all departments throughout the transition, particularly those with significant changes in their functions and responsibilities. She also expressed confidence that, building on the agency’s strong spirit of unity, Dong Thap Newspaper and Radio, Television will continue advancing toward becoming an increasingly professional and modern media organization capable of meeting new demands.

The Board of Directors also requested each department to proactively review coordination procedures and promptly report any difficulties encountered during implementation so that they can be addressed in a timely manner. This aims to ensure the new organizational structure operates smoothly without disrupting the agency’s work, particularly its political tasks and public information duties.
