In carrying out the 2026 new soldier training mission, Regiment 320 and Regiment 924 closely adhered to the principle of “Basic, Practical, and Firm,”  while flexibly applying the “Three Viewpoints, Eight Principles, and Six Combinations.” This ensured that soldiers acquired essential knowledge, mastered military skills, and successfully completed all training programs and requirements according to plan. Inspection results showed that 100% of training contents achieved good or excellent ratings. Marksmanship, tactics, and physical fitness were rated good, while all other categories achieved excellent results. Absolute safety was maintained throughout the training period.

During training, the units also placed strong emphasis on political and ideological education, helping soldiers strengthen their awareness and understanding. As a result, the new soldiers remained confident, studied diligently, fully absorbed training content, maintained a high sense of discipline, and successfully completed all assigned tasks.

After each oath, the soldiers responded in unison with a resounding “I swear!” The powerful and determined declaration reflected their strong commitment and deep sense of responsibility as servicemen of the Vietnam People’s Army toward their duties to the nation and the people.

Addressing the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Van Tien praised the units’ spirit of solidarity and determination in overcoming difficulties, particularly under harsh weather conditions and demanding training requirements. He noted that after the training period, the new soldiers had made significant progress in political awareness, organizational discipline, military bearing, and professional military skills. They successfully completed all training programs while ensuring absolute safety.

Major General Nguyen Van Tien, Deputy Commander of Military Region 9, expressed his hope that, following the oath-taking ceremony, the new soldiers would continue to uphold the noble qualities of revolutionary servicemen; strive for continuous improvement in all aspects; build firm political awareness, strong determination, solidarity, and mutual support; and remain ready to accept and successfully accomplish any assigned mission. He also encouraged them to uphold their responsibilities as soldiers, live up to the trust of the Party, the State, and the people, as well as the expectations of local Party committees, authorities, and their families, thereby contributing to the development of a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern Vietnam People’s Army.
