Dong Thap: Provincial People's Committee’s Party Committee Appoints New Deputy Secretary and Two Members

(DTO) On January 10, at Ap Bac Hall, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Committee Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee regarding personnel affairs. 

The conference was chaired by Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People’s Committee, and Secretary of the Provincial People’s Committee Party Committee.

At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee announced the decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Pham Van An, a member of the Provincial Party Committee currently working at the Provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission, to join the Executive Committee and Standing Committee, and to assume the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial People’s Committee Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

In addition, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided to appoint Mr. Nguyen Nhat Truong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board, and Mr. Doan Huu Hieu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Head in charge of the Provincial Tax Department, to the Executive Committee of the Provincial People’s Committee Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People’s Committee, and Secretary of the Provincial People’s Committee Party Committee highly appreciated the professional capacity and extensive experience of Mr. Pham Van An, particularly his many years of work in Party inspection.

In his new position, Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai expressed his hope that the newly appointed Deputy Secretary of the Provincial People’s Committee Party Committee would continue to promote his strengths, together with the Standing Committee and Executive Committee, to effectively lead and direct the implementation of political tasks in the coming period.

Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai also expressed his satisfaction with the consolidation of the Provincial People’s Committee Party Committee through the addition of two new members, Nguyen Nhat Truong and Doan Huu Hieu, thereby strengthening its leadership capacity to meet requirements and successfully implement the resolutions of the 1st Provincial Party Congress and the Provincial People’s Committee Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
