Mr. Le Quang Khoi Appointed Secretary of Trung An Ward Party Committee

(DTO) On the afternoon of July 17, the Standing Board of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce a personnel appointment. The event was attended by Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap Province Phan Van Thang, who presented the appointment decision.

At the conference, a representative of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Commission announced Decision No. 826-QD/TU, dated July 17, 2026, issued by the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee. Under the decision, Provincial Party Committee Member and Director of the Department of Science and Technology Le Quang Khoi was reassigned to the Executive Committee and Standing Board of the Trung An Ward Party Committee, and appointed to serve as Ward Party Secretary for the 2025–2030 term.

Delivering the assignment, Permanent Deputy Secretary Phan Van Thang congratulated Mr. Le Quang Khoi on being entrusted with the new responsibility by the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee. The Permanent Deputy Secretary urged the new Party Secretary and the ward's leadership to quickly familiarize themselves with local conditions, review socio-economic development targets, planning, and key priorities, and ensure that development goals are practical, feasible, and contribute to the province's overall development objectives.

Permanent Deputy Secretary Phan Van Thang expressed confidence that Secretary Le Quang Khoi's strengths in science, technology, and digital transformation would help Trung An Ward accelerate the application of technology in governance, administration, and economic development, while strengthening cooperation with organizations and businesses to support residents and cooperatives in enhancing product value and creating new momentum for local development.

The Permanent Deputy Secretary also expressed confidence that the Trung An Ward Party Committee would continue to foster unity and solidarity, build a strong political system, effectively operate the two-tier local government model, improve public services, advance administrative reform, attract investment, and develop Trung An into one of the province's leading localities.

Speaking upon assuming his new position, Secretary Le Quang Khoi said he was honored by the trust placed in him by the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee. The newly appointed Secretary pledged to uphold a strong sense of responsibility and work closely with the Standing Board and Executive Committee of the Trung An Ward Party Committee in unity and determination to successfully fulfill all assigned tasks, contributing to the ward's sustainable development.
