(DTO) On the afternoon of March 20, Ms. Le Thi Thuy, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central mass organizations, Secretary of the Party Committee, and President of the Vietnam Women's Union, led a delegation to offer flowers and incense at the Martyrs' Memorial, Long Hung Communal House, and the Temple of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thap. The delegation also visited the exhibition house at the Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Historical Site (Long Hung Commune).

Joining the delegation were Chau Thi My Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council, leaders of the Provincial Women’s Union, and more than 50 union officials and members.
At the Martyrs’ Memorial Stele House, in a solemn atmosphere, the delegation laid a wreath, offered incense, and observed a moment of silence in remembrance of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s independence and freedom.

The delegation then proceeded to offer flowers and incense at the Memorial House of Nguyen Thi Thap, former President of the Vietnam Women’s Union. Before her memorial, the delegates expressed deep gratitude for her significant contributions to the liberation of women and the revolutionary movement in the province.
After the tribute ceremony, the delegation visited the exhibition hall within the historical site, where they listened to presentations on the history of the Southern Uprising and viewed valuable images and artifacts associated with this national historical site.

To honor Nguyen Thi Thap’s contributions, the Party Committee, authorities, and people of the former Tien Giang Province built her memorial house within the Southern Uprising Historical Site.

The Southern Uprising Historical Site, and especially the Memorial House of former Vietnam Women’s Union President Nguyen Thi Thap, stands as a symbol of the respect and pride of the people of Dong Thap. The site preserves valuable documents and artifacts that help educate younger generations about the province’s revolutionary history, making it an essential destination for visitors returning to their roots whenever they come to Dong Thap.
