Proud of 96 Years Steadfast Under the Glorious Flag of the Party

(DTO) Under the glorious flag of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, over the past 96 years, our nation has written heroic chapters of history through indomitable will, profound patriotism, and an enduring aspiration for independence and freedom. From the arduous early days to today’s journey of national construction and defense, the Party has always been the guiding torch, uniting the great strength of national solidarity. 

Pride in 96 years of steadfast progress under the Party’s banner is not only a tribute to a glorious past, but also a firm belief in the path chosen by the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and our People.

At the gathering commemorating the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Viet Nam and welcoming the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026, held on the morning of February 3, reporters of Dong Thap Newspaper and Radio–Television recorded a number of heartfelt opinions expressing strong confidence in the Party’s wise leadership, the spirit of unity, and the high political determination of officials, Party members, and the People in successfully realizing development goals for the country and Dong Thap Province in the new period.

Firm Faith in the Party's Leadership: Dong Thap Rises Strongly in the New Era

Over 96 years of construction and development, under the wise leadership of the Party, headed by beloved President Ho Chi Minh—the founder and mentor of our Party—the Vietnamese People have overcome countless hardships and sacrifices, steadfastly fighting for national independence, freedom, and reunification.

From a poor and backward country, our People rose from colonial subjugation to become masters of their destiny, firmly building and defending the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.

The more proud we are of the Party’s growth, the more deeply we engrave the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh in our hearts. 

At the same time, we forever honor the heroic sacrifices of millions of compatriots and soldiers across the country who devoted their lives to national liberation and to the cause of building and defending the nation, creating today’s proud stature of Viet Nam.

In the joyful atmosphere of welcoming the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo and celebrating the success of the 14th National Party Congress, opening a new stage of development with intertwined opportunities and challenges, Dong Thap Province has entered a new phase following its merger, undergoing significant changes in organizational structure and key leadership personnel.
This marks an important historical milestone for the province and a major turning point for the country’s development process.

We firmly believe that under the wise and steadfast leadership of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, our country will advance toward socialism, and that path will undoubtedly succeed.

Although many important tasks lie ahead, I hope that the Party Committee and authorities of Dong Thap Province will continue to care for the People so that everyone may enjoy a joyful, warm, and happy traditional Tet holiday, while proactively implementing tasks from the very beginning of the year, creating new momentum and determination to drive Dong Thap’s strong development and achieve significant results in the first year of the 2025–2030 term.

50 Years of Party Membership – Lifelong Loyalty and Dedication

In the solemn atmosphere commemorating the 96th anniversary of the Party’s founding and welcoming the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026, I am deeply moved and proud to be awarded the 50-year Party Membership Badge.

This is not only a noble recognition of a Party member’s long journey of dedication, perseverance, and steadfast contribution to the revolutionary cause, but also a symbol of loyalty to the Party and the Fatherland. It is a great source of encouragement to continue upholding responsibility and contributing intellect and devotion to Party building and national development in the time ahead.

Looking back, I still remember vividly the day I was admitted to the Party ranks half a century ago. At that time, the country had just been reunified, and Dong Thap still faced many post-war hardships.

With youthful enthusiasm and absolute faith in the Party, I pledged myself to the revolutionary cause. Over the past 50 years, I have served in many different positions. 

Regardless of the role, I have always upheld my oath before the Party flag, continuously striving, cultivating myself, and placing the interests of the Party and the People above all else.

Fifty years in the Party has been intertwined with the ups and downs of our homeland and nation. 

Reflecting on this journey, I feel fortunate to have been trained and matured within the Party—a “great school” that has forged my will, resilience, and the qualities of a Party member over half a century.

Fifty years of Party membership have also been a journey in which I have witnessed the Party’s constant growth and maturity, alongside the nation’s profound transformations and increasing prosperity.

Being awarded the 50-year Party Membership Badge today, I deeply recognize that this honor is the result of the Party’s care, guidance, and education. I also express my profound gratitude to the great President Ho Chi Minh, who founded and nurtured our Party and illuminated the path for generations of Party members to follow.

I sincerely pay tribute to earlier generations, veteran revolutionaries, and predecessors who heroically sacrificed and devoted themselves to the cause of national independence, laying a solid foundation for the country and serving as shining examples for later generations.

In addition, I would like to express my sincere thanks to my comrades, colleagues, and friends who have always stood shoulder to shoulder with me throughout my years of service, working together to successfully fulfill the tasks entrusted to us.

It is precisely this spirit of solidarity, sharing, and mutual support within the collective that has served as a strong foundation, enabling me to overcome difficulties and challenges and to fulfill the responsibilities of a Party member.

As a son of Dong Thap, I feel great joy and pride in witnessing the remarkable transformation and development of my home province in recent years. Dong Thap today has risen to become a dynamic locality, achieving comprehensive progress across many fields.

Notably, the year 2025 marked a historic turning point with the merger of Dong Thap Province and Tien Giang Province, opening up a broader development space and new growth opportunities.

Following the merger, the province’s population size, land area, and economic potential have increased significantly, while also posing an urgent requirement to swiftly stabilize the organizational apparatus and effectively mobilize and utilize available resources.

Witnessing the homeland’s daily renewal and the continuous improvement in the material and spiritual lives of the people, with the responsibility of a Party member who has devoted an entire lifetime to this land, he express his deep sense of excitement and firm confidence in a bright future for the province.

Over 96 years under the glorious banner of the Party, our nation has overcome countless hardships and challenges, achieved independence and national reunification, and attained great accomplishments in the cause of national construction and development.

Although the road ahead remains fraught with difficulties, with the Party’s proud tradition and the unity and solidarity of generations of Party members, I firmly believe that our province will continue to achieve new successes and move steadily toward sustainable development.
