Provincial Leaders Visit Dong Thap Newspaper and Radio, Television Ahead of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day
(DTO) On the morning of June 18, Ms. Chau Thi My Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of Dong Thap’s National Assembly Delegation, together with members of the working delegation, visited and extended congratulations to the staff of Dong Thap Newspaper and Radio, Television on the occasion of the 101st anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2026).

At the meeting, Deputy Secretary Chau Thi My Phuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the role of Dong Thap Newspaper and Radio, Television in news reporting and public communication, helping disseminate the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws, while providing timely coverage of the province’s socio-economic development.
She emphasized that as the country enters a new stage of development with increasing demands for innovation, the press continues to play an important role in guiding public opinion, raising public awareness, and fostering consensus in the implementation of political tasks. For any locality to create momentum for development, there must first be a shift in public awareness, and the press serves as a pioneering force in communication efforts and promoting positive values.
On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Secretary Chau Thi My Phuong extended her congratulations to the leadership, reporters, editors, technicians, and employees of Dong Thap Newspaper and Radio, Television. She wished journalists and media professionals good health, happiness, and continued success in fulfilling their responsibilities, while remaining steadfast partners in the province’s development in the years ahead.
On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap Province presented a congratulatory flower arrangement to Dong Thap Newspaper and Radio, Television in celebration of the 101st anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
