Standing Deputy Secretary Phan Van Thang visits and honors former provincial leaders

(DTO) On the afternoon of April 28, marking the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2026), a provincial delegation led by Mr. Phan Van Thang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap, visited and presented gifts to former leaders who served during the resistance war.

Standing Deputy Secretary Phan Van Thang presents a gift and extends health wishes to Mr. Nguyen Dac Hien, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the former provincial Party Committee.

In Cao Lanh Ward, the delegation visited Mr. Nguyen Dac Hien and Mr. Vo Quoc Trung, both former Standing Deputy Secretaries of the former provincial Party Committee. At each visit, Standing Deputy Secretary  Phan Van Thang expressed profound gratitude for their immense contributions to the cause of national liberation and their role in the current development of Dong Thap province.

Standing Deputy Secretary Phan Van Thang emphasized that the Party, authorities, and people of Dong Thap profoundly cherish the dedication of previous generations. He reaffirmed the province's commitment to the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source," striving to uphold the revolutionary legacy of the "Pink Lotus Land" (Dat Sen Hong).
