The Most Sacred and Proudest Moment in a Party Member’s Life

(DTO) In the atmosphere of the days leading up to Spring Binh Ngo 2026, together with the whole country commemorating the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2026), Party committees at all levels in Dong Thap Province solemnly held ceremonies to present Party Badges to Party members. 

Each Party Badge pinned to the chest is not only the Party’s recognition of a lifetime of dedication and perseverance, but also a powerful symbol of unwavering loyalty—an enduring “flame” that carries forward the blazing revolutionary spirit across generations.

A MARK OF LIFELONG DEDICATION

The Party Badge is a noble honor bestowed by the Communist Party of Vietnam upon members who have spent many years in its ranks and made significant contributions to the revolutionary cause.

For every Party member, the moment of receiving the Party Badge is the most sacred and proud milestone. It is not only recognition of years in the Party, but also a solemn affirmation of one’s political steadfastness and moral qualities, proven through the test of time.

The awarding of the Party Badge is a profound acknowledgment of the sacrifices, dedication, and loyalty of Party members throughout their lifelong pursuit of national independence and socialism.

This is more than a chronological milestone. It is a vivid testament to a life devoted to the Party, to the people, and to the country.

In this February 3, 2026 round, more than 800 Party members across Dong Thap were honored with this esteemed recognition. This number is a testament to the enduring strength and vitality of the provincial Party organization.

Among them are members who lived through both resistance wars against French and American forces, as well as those who have been highly devoted to the nation’s development and defense in the Doi Moi era.

In every circumstance, they share one thing in common: absolute faith in the path chosen by the Party and President Ho Chi Minh.

Each Party Badge recipient carries a moving story of personal effort and commitment to revolutionary ethics.

At the ceremonies held across various Party committees, feelings of pride mixed with emotion are clearly visible on the faces of veteran members.

Party member Pham Phu Huu of Cao Lanh Ward, who has just been awarded the 50-year Party Badge, shared: “Although I have previously received the 30-, 35-, 40-, and 45-year badges, each ceremony still feels as sacred as the first time I swore an oath before the Party flag. This badge is an acknowledgment of my lifelong devotion to the Party and the revolutionary cause. It is a reminder to live in a way worthy of this honor.”

He added that more than half a century in the Party has been a long, challenging journey, filled with trials, but his faith in the Party’s ideals has never wavered.

“I always remember my oath under the illustrious Party flag. I am deeply grateful to the Party and my cell for their guidance and support throughout this path.”

Sharing the same pride, Party member Phan Van Tang of An Binh Ward, who received the 40-year badge, said: “On the 96th anniversary of the Party’s founding, I am honored to receive my 40-year Party Badge. This is a meaningful recognition from the Party. I’m truly honored and vow to stand united with my comrades in the ward Party Committee and Party cell to help build an ever more transparent and resilient ward.”

For Party committees in Dong Thap, these ceremonies are not only political duties but also meaningful opportunities to honor earlier generations.

At My Phong Ward, 15 Party members received Party Badges on February 3. Ward Party Secretary Le Thi Be Phuong shared: “Presenting the Badge on the 96th anniversary of the Party’s founding reflects the Party and State’s appreciation for your contributions. We hope you will continue to uphold your qualities, experience, and pioneering spirit, remaining shining examples for the younger generation.”

PASSING THE TORCH TO THE YOUNGER GENERATION

The Party Badge is not only an honor for Party members. It is also a vivid, powerful, and deeply inspiring lesson for the younger generation.

Looking at the gleaming badges on the chests of their predecessors, youth union members and young Party members gain a deeper sense of the heavy yet glorious responsibility of carrying forward the revolutionary path.

Speaking at the ceremony as a representative of local youth, Vo Van Cuong, Secretary of the Cao Lanh Ward Youth Union, could not hide his emotion: “Attending the ceremony and witnessing our elders receive their Party Badges fills me with pride and admiration. The Party Badge represents the persistent and quiet contributions of earlier generations. They are shining examples of morality and steadfastness for young people to follow.”

Cuong affirmed that today’s young generation always “engraves in their hearts” profound gratitude toward the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and the contributions of past generations.

Their sacrifices are the solid foundation that allows today’s youth to live in peace, happiness, and to develop their talents.

Therefore, the younger generation is determined to continually learn, train, and strive to be worthy of the trust and expectations placed upon them.

The 96th anniversary of the Party’s founding is an opportunity for every Party member to reflect on their journey, taking pride in their contributions and reminding themselves of the responsibilities ahead.

Each Party Badge awarded affirms that the Party always respects and never forgets the contributions of its members, in every position and circumstance.

Veteran Party members are the “bricks” that build the monument of trust in the Party among the People. Their spirit remains a “flame” that fuels the enthusiasm of today’s youth.

Ms. Phan Thi My Tien, Deputy Secretary of the An Bình Ward Youth Union, shared: “As the younger generation, we are always aware of our responsibility to carry forward the Party’s mission. In the digital era, we not only inherit the ‘steel spirit’ of our predecessors but must also be pioneers in new arenas such as digital transformation, knowledge-based economic development, and international integration. We, the youth, are committed to upholding creativity and contributing to a stronger Dong Thap and a prosperous Vietnam.”

A new spring has arrived in the Pink Lotus Land, bringing renewed vitality, hope, and belief under the glorious Party flag.

The Party Badges shining on the chests of Party members today are like the most beautiful “blooms” offered to the Party, further honoring the revolutionary tradition of Dong Thap Province.
